Souvlaki Chicken

Grilled chicken skewers marinated in olive oil, lemon, and herbs, served with pita and tzatziki sauce.

Wooden Skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)10Count

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice and zest, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add chicken cubes to the marinade, mix well, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread marinated chicken, red onion, and bell pepper onto the soaked skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  7. Serve the chicken skewers with warm pita and tzatziki sauce.

Prep

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes
  • Marinate chicken for at least 2 hours
