Vegan Salisbury Steak

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cooked lentils, chopped mushrooms, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, flaxseed meal mixture, thyme, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined and form into 5 equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. In a separate saucepan, bring vegetable broth to a simmer and add the cornstarch mixture, stirring continuously until the gravy thickens.
  5. Serve the patties topped with the prepared gravy.
